Women on Missions
The Women Missionary Union (WMU) at LSBC sponsors many events throughout the year with an emphasis on helping with a yearly project. Starting in 2016 the WMU has raised money each month to make an additional payment on the Debt Reduction for the churches Pastorium. Some of the events the WMU sponsors are, Yard Sales, an Annual Talent Show, Bake Sales, Adopt a Child from the Children’s Home for Easter, an Annual Soup Sale, Refreshments for Live Nativity at Christmas, promote Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. The WMU also made robes for Baptismal Candidates to wear during Baptism. If you would like more information or to become a part of the WMU please contact Melanie Jackson!

Our Mission – to grow together in our walk as Christian Women; increasing in our knowledge and understanding of Gods words and directives for our life; through biblical lessons and encouraging times of fellowship.
Our Meetings – We will gather for a light meal followed by a Biblically based lesson and a project or craft based on that lesson.
Our Mission – to encourage those that are hurting.
